Privacy policy
Updated October 22, 2026
Public Taste is a private publishing tool for YouTube channels we own or manage. This policy covers our use of Google account data and publishing records.
Data and purpose
With our operator’s consent, we request YouTube upload and read-only permissions. We use channel identity, video metadata, upload progress, processing and publication status to verify the authorized channel and publish the intended videos. Authorization credentials, upload session details and publishing records are held in restricted application storage.
Services
Cloudflare hosts our private application data, Modal processes media for rendering, and YouTube receives finished videos and their metadata. Post for Me supplies analytics for connected channels. Data is shared with these services only as needed to operate the workflow. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Our use and transfer of Google API data follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention
Our rendered video copies are deleted after verified public publication. Private, scheduled or unresolved uploads are retained for completion and recovery. Source media, artwork, lyrics, metadata and publishing history are retained for reuse and operational records. Authorization credentials remain in private storage while the connection is maintained.
Access and deletion
You can revoke access in Google account permissions. To disconnect or request deletion of stored Google account data, email juries-debris-2v@icloud.com. Revoking access stops future authorized API access; it does not remove videos already published on YouTube or automatically erase existing records.
Google’s own data handling is described in its Privacy Policy.
